Soul Vacation

It has started to snow. Fairy-tale like snowflakes fall slowly and softly as winter settles on me. Powdery flakes brush against my face and melt as they meet tears I didn’t know were even there. Its midnight and I’m lonely but the darkness cannot capture everything. I walk the avenues- I reach a Square. Lights and floating sounds of music – the colors of life arrive out of nowhere. Here winter keeps her distance. It’s the place to find on any weekend in any town anywhere. It’s the place to go lift ones soul. To find refuge. Think of this: Low clouds reflect the the square’s golden glow and the sky seems near- near enough to reach out and touch. The world is so real and so beautiful – street musicians, vendors and shoppers. People everywhere, doing everything and nothing. The atmosphere is rhythmic and brilliant. It touches the heart.
Go there. Go to the Square nearby. Go to an all night cafe.

Zen’s Blog- I am what I am

I have everything, I have nothing. I need everything I need nothing. I need to see beauty I don’t need to see beauty. I need God I don’t need God. And my life seems to be scattered between the best and worst of times.
But through it all I’m alive and my life is governed by mysterious emotions which I need to share with others to help me feel I have a Purpose. I need to find those hiding in the same shadow to spark a common electricity, to light up our lives and to send the darkness away. So I cast myself into space in a picture with my life compressed in a sentence across it. It becomes a 3D cosmic burst across the cyber world for everybody to see. Nobody knows from whom or where that Photosecret comes. But someone sees it and stretches out in the vacuum of the night to hold my hand. You know that I am what I am. And that I need You as You need me – That’s the essence of SecretZen where a zillion emotions appear out of nowhere with the strings of life which connect all of us into one.

Zen’s Blog- Promise

Beats of creation cascade through our bodies within an ever- rising crescendo as we keep in synchronicity with the frantic pace of 21st century existence. Life is beautiful, present and volatile an exquisite release that makes us move forward. Yet in every life sudden cracks appear that we need to bridge so that our natural luminescence remains flowing. Each of our lives commands attention from us first and foremost -and then from others. The selfishness of our personal well being must be the first prayer when we awake and our last when the day ends. Peace unto ourselves must be the supreme fact that drives our existence. It’s only then that the world around us becomes calm.

Let us today make that promise to ourselves.

And let’s not forget promises are sometimes kept
