    I think it’s fine to say ’I’m amazing’. It’s definitely better than ’I’m worthless’. Just as long as they don’t go overboard, as it sounds like your ex did, then I think it’s perfectly fine. In fact, I’m glad they have such good self-esteem.

I started becoming obsessed with telling the truth…fine wouldn’t cut it anymore. Once I started speaking my mind without having to worry about what people thought of me…I actually felt a little better. We can’t know for sure without asking.
