the addictive drug version for the heart. without it, withdrawal. But some people ”Don’t know what your missing” the highs and the lows. the temporary embarressment damange and the long term damage of heart ache. Love’s a drug. x

Something no person has ever felt for me in an intimate sense… and I dont think anyone ever will. So I guess I’ll never fully know what its like to love someone who loves me…
But I guess for me its just overall wonder. I try to explain it and my chest tightens when I think of how to describe perfection. What he is to me. Everything about him. His scraggly hair, his crooked teeth, his hairy belly button; all things people see at imperfections that I see as perfectly wonderful. Seeing someone for what they are, the good and the bad, and loving them anyways. Knowing they’re hurting you just because they can, but staying anyway because they mean everything to you and trying to be without them for even a second makes it feel like someone is trying to physicaly rip the still beating heart from your chest. When you know they’re using you, but you let them because having them even use you means you’re something to them, anything. When you know you’ll never have them again, so you hold onto the memories like air, refusing to let it slip away from you because if you do, you’re sure you’ll die. Letting them stomp on you, but going back, because you cant be without them. Losing yourself so unbelieveably deep inside a person that you’re not sure how you ever lived without half your soul before you met them. When you sit up with them as they cry all night over the girl they left you for even though you’ll want to die the entire time. When you let them fall asleep in your arms after their tears stop flowing and yours start. When you could hold them tight in your arms all night and its not enough time. When you lie awake 12 whole hours next to them so you have every single moment to cling to when they wake in the morning and kick you out. When you cling to eveything, every touch, every smile, every kiss, every call, every note, everything you can cling to; you’ll never forget no matter how much time passes. When you could never think of hurting him, and when others chastise him for what hes doing to you, you defend them with everything you have in this world. When you would go to the ends of the earth to have them next to you… Everything… thats how I’ll describe it. He is my everything.

protecting the ones i care about. being there for them and hoping just once, one they’ll be there for me.

He makes my heart beat like a rabbit’s. And I want to spend the rest of my life with him. He’s my best friend and I’m his. I have so much fun with him. Even if we’re not doing anything. I’d do anything for him and I know he would for me…
Most of all, I don’t even care how stereotypical that crap sounds. It’s true in ways I can never explain.
