    the thing is your heart may break a million times in your lifetime where you get to know sadness so well it becomes your best friend — but that never means it’s any easier to deal with especially when you love as hard as you hurt; you go all in you go all out it’s just the way your skin works. and that’s why maybe it doesn’t matter how many times you’re going to go through it or how much you or anyone else thinks you should’ve known better or be over with it already because when it comes down to it you’re going to fall back into it like it’s going to be that very first time again like the only way youve ever learned how to full on and bursting and always like youve never once ached before.

    And life goes on. When you finally realize that whatever happens happens. Sometimes for the best. In some cases for the worst. You can never completely have what you want so Ive learned. But whatever at least youre happy with her and thats all that matters. Happiness its a funny thing.

      Sometimes you get what you need, not what you want. I was convinced one guy was perfect for me and when it didn’t work out, I ended up finding the guy who’s meant for me! Hang in there!

    Maybe all you could really ask of yourself is to just be okay. To be okay with discovering what it’s like to be alone. To be okay with not sharing that last piece of cheesecake or the warmth of a blanket that you now have all to yourself. To be okay with walking the streets empty handed empty hearted drained but hopeful to be full again someday. To be okay with missing them whether a lot or a little and maybe loving them still but only in the back closet of the vacant space you hold inside your ribcage. To be okay with it all — the hurt and the sadness the frustration and betrayal and to make peace with it and know that it is hard and that it may be the hardest thing you go through but know that it is not the end that maybe things will mend and maybe they won’t but to be okay might be just enough can be just enough for now — for now that’s all you could really ask.

      If he doesn’t show it, then he’s probably left you behind on purpose. But listen to me; don’t spend your time waiting for him if that is the case. Get up and explore the world before it passes you by! You still have people who love you and care about you! Don’t forget that!
