  I know exactly how you feel!!! I’m 14 and everyone I know (including my 83 yr old Nan) get more excited about life than I do, and have more energy. I try to kinda force it excitement slightly to kick start it and then it’s someimes ok.

  Have you considered the possibility that you’re suffering from a Major Depressive Episode? I know there is a stigma attached, and you don’t want to be considered crazy… but you should know that this is a VERY common problem I’d recommend consulting a counselor.

  it sounds like you might have depression. it’s okay you’ll be fine if you do just got to the doctor and get help.

  When I was depressed, I was tired, impossible to cheer up and very, VERY unexcited and unmotivated. You should check it out, best to not let it dwell.

  Yeah. I had this problem for about two years. The world outside my window seemed to hold nothing whatsoever for me. It seemed dreary, grey and boring, and I felt so confined. I went through the months, doing extreme sports, like trainsurfing, not caring what happened to my body or myself. The bursts of adrenaline were what I lived for. Because nothing got me excited.
  Even when I got my lip pierced, after two years of begging my mum, I didn’t even feel excited, just neutral.
  I’m still not back to normal, but it’s a lot better. It sucks that I don’t get excited.. but I hope that will change.. and I hope it will change for you, too, hun.
