Nobody said anything about extreme sadness. But even that comes with love sometimes. I’m truly, madly, deeply in love with my boyfriend, and we’re long distance. So as a result, there are night I’ll cry myself to sleep because he’s far away from me and I miss him so bad. And frankly, that’s healthier than me confusing my sadness for anger and turning it on him, ultimately destroying everything. I don’t mean to sound bitchy or whatever, but that’s just how love goes sometimes.

No offense, but that’s just naive. If missing someone doesn’t hurt, and if worrying doesn’t ache sometimes, then you’re not involved deeply enough for it to be true love. Nothing is perfect, love included.
