      Christ is a title. I was under the impression that everyone knew that it was a title, not his birth name. And of course ”Jesus” is just a translation. Nonetheless, since those are the words we use to refer to our God, regardless of the historical origin of those words, so in my opinion, using those words in a demeaning manner to refer to anything other than invoking God is disrespectful.

      And you’re entitled to your opinion of both my (as a Christian) intelligence, which seems to be in question because of this post, and my religion (Christianity) itself, which seems to be used for sarcastic/humorous result in this post. But I am not stupid, my beliefs are not a joke, and just because I can respect that other people do not share them does not mean I am going to sit by silently and let other people deride them without defending them.

      I found that funny, but it still annoys me when people say Jesus Christ like that. Think of it like this: someone is using the name of the person I am totally in love with as a swear word. Its annoying.
