i hate it when people act like they are deeply wounded by someone else’s tendencies for self harm. that usually sounds completely phoney to me. but you’re right about the attention seeking cutters which _some_ of them are, and it seems that some of those people frequent this site.

then that’s not the same as being addicted to dumping people. that’s habitually dumping people because you’re afraid of intimacy, addicted to dumping people would mean that dumping people is what you crave, which is is how i interpreted that.

well, everyone has to get dumped at some point in their life, so i guess it’s better to be dumped by someone that they don’t have a real connection with (as you facillitate a lie to achieve your objective, i assume) and some day those people will realize that, and it won’t feel as bad as being dumped by someone they genuinely liked.

yeah, you can give them the poem ”children learn what they live”, and they still won’t get it. however, they put up with it from thir parents, who may have been even more obnoxious
