  I’m the same – don’t regret anything I’ve done cuz I’ve learnt from it but I majorly regret things I haven’t done (especially the things I haven’t done because of ‘pride’)

  This has come into mind many a times, and I’ve often wondered, what does it mean to live a life without regret? Well, its inevitable, whether you regret not doing something or doing something. Then it comes to a previous comment: everything happens for a reason, and everything that doesn’t happen has a reason.

  To answer all of these questions you must again ask two questions of yourself: what truly makes me happy and what am I living for?

  We all have regrets dear. I think those who say they do not have any regrets are just fooling themselves.

  The only think I have ever regretted was also something I didn’t do. I was offered a volunteer position in Mali and didn’t go because it could have put me in a bad situation financially for school. I have always wanted to go to Africa and to this day regret not going. From it I have learned never to take anything for granted, and if an opportunity presents itself to grasp it and hold on to it tightly so I don’t have any further regrets in the future. Live life to its fullest. It’s the only one we’ve got.

  That’s kind of an obvious statement. “I wish I’d never slept with him” can just as easily become “I wish I’d waited”. I do know what you are getting at though. Sometimes your actions really can end up hurting you though, so it’s good to take care.

  same, i regret not telling my brother i want him dead and showing my parents ow much they dont care, but its too late now, its been going on for too long!
