I am too. There’s so many differences between the two of me that it feels like I have a twin, but that twin is dead and just follows me and I try to act like her sometimes. It feels so weird, and different to be two people all the time. It scares me, and I feel like I don’t know which one is really me.

i agree with mimow, i have two different sides
because i try to protect myself, i don’t know
from what, but i’ve been doing that since elementary
school. Now i can’t be one person anymore, i’m scared
of what might happen if i show my true self, but i want
people to know how i am actually, but i’m scared what the reaction might be…

it’s ok i think. Its the way we protect our life by creating different masks for different occasions.

Read “The presentation of self in everyday life” by Erving Goffman. You’ll understand.
