  I was in that exact situation myself for two years. It actually helped me a lot in the long run because it allowed me to break out of my shell, including in the real world. Don’t worry, you’ll get there =)

  in the web people just what your inside and not your look

  but keep in mind
  there are some people like that also inside the real world

  I’m far closer to a couple of people on the net than anyone ‘irl’ as it were.
  Talking to those and meeting so many people that way let me get to know myself and how other people work – I have a large group of friends where I study now, and several close ones.
  While some people might ridicule the idea, there’s nothing wrong with being friends with people you haven’t met. In fact, I went to go see someone I’d met through a game recently. She’s awesome, and just the same as she was on the net.
  It’s a good place, if a little risky, to meet people. When you feel ready, you can get to know people outside it, too.

  Same here. I have more online friends than “real life” friends, and I’m definitely closer to them as well. I haven’t met any of them yet but I hope so soon.

  I have three life friends, and about a hundred million thousand and growing online. So…my life is the internet. I find it much easier to have friends online.
